Postal Match #23 (August 2010)

This match begins on July 6, 2010, and runs until midnight (EDT) on August 6, 2010. You must be a member of AAPS to compete in this event. Of course, nothing prevents you from setting up and shooting the match at home without being a member, but only AAPS members will have their scores posted and compete for medals and classification points. You can join AAPS by submitting the online application form. There are membership categories for U.S. residents as well as international competitors.

I've extended the deadline for this one since I'm late getting it posted. Just got back from vacation and I'm fighting a cold. :evil:

I found it!

I should have 6+ shooters (hopefully new AAPS Members) shooting the postal match on the 3rd Sunday.

I just sent out an email to 43 club members and friends letting them know about this months postal shoot that we will be hosting on our range after the main event.
I have been having good feedback and hope to have 12+ shooters to play and also join AAPS.
If it doesn't get to hot here in Texas we should have a good turnout.
I have picked up Poppers, Targets and a timer so we're ready to play.

Set this up this morning, ran 3mags

Best run was 2.39 with 28pts HF 11.7154

Fastest run 2.13 with 1A, 2C and 1 D 22pts HF 10.3286

I'm hoping to shoot this again this week before the deadline. This was fun to shoot but just been to busy to set it back up.

Almost didn't make this one. The temp around here has been hovering right at 102F. So I've set-up and shot this one in the evenings. My best on this one wasn't as good as I wanted but it was fun. 4.00 with 30pts @ 7.50HF

Getting ready for another week of high temps :roll:

This is not common for us in this region to stay in this range for more than a couple of days, it's been over a week. So it looks like several more evenings shooting.
